BLACK, BROWN, WHITE... WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

elle:  "Do black people really exist?"

me:  "Uh... yeah.  You know tons of black people."

elle:  "No I don't."

me:  "How about over half of your class this year... and last year... and your teacher this year...

and Ms. Bell last year."

elle:  "Nooooo.  Those people are all brown."
